Simply stated, the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) is a professional association representing the tour operator industry. Composed of companies whose tours and packages encompass the entire globe and who conduct business in the U.S.
USTOA was founded in 1972 by a small group of California tour operators concerned about tour operator bankruptcies. These founding members recognized the need for a unified voice to protect the travelling public, as well as to represent the interests of tour operators. In 1975, USTOA became a national organization with headquarters in New York.
Founded in 1973, SITE is the only international, not-for-profit, professional association devoted to the pursuit of excellence in incentives, a multi-billion dollar global industry. SITE provides educational seminars and information services to those who design, develop, promote, sell, administer, and operate motivational programs as an incentive to increase productivity in business. Currently SITE has over 2,100 members in 86 countries, with 34 local and regional chapters. Members represent airlines, cruise lines, corporate users, destination management companies, ground transportation companies, hotels and resorts, incentive houses, official tourist organizations, trade publications, travel agencies, and supporting organizations such as restaurants and visitors attractions.
The Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau was founded in 1964. Task: Support and Promotion of the Congress and Incentive business for the individual SCIB members.
Bucher Travel Inc. supports Switzerland tourism for their national and international marketing activities.
Bucher Travel Inc. supports Lucerne Tourist board for their international marketing activities.
The Switzerland Travel Agency Association was founded in 1928 and is the tourism industry organisation for travel agencies in Switzerland. The head organisation counts 900 active- and 120 passive members.
ASTAG supports the transportation industry with all their corresponding political questions and ASTAG intends to improve the government terms.
